Who we are

NexSprint operates NexScribe, an AI-powered transcription service. We are based in Singapore. For data protection enquiries, contact us at [email protected].

What data we collect

• —Name and email address — collected when you create an account or submit a free transcription request.
• —Password — stored as a one-way hash. We never store or see your plain-text password.
• —Audio files — uploaded temporarily for transcription. See the section below on how audio is handled.
• —Transcripts — the text output produced from your audio file. Retained in your dashboard if you are a registered user.
• —Billing information — handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment details on our systems.

How we use your data

• —To process your transcription and deliver results to your email address.
• —To maintain your account and provide access to your transcript dashboard.
• —To manage your subscription and process payments via Stripe.
• —To send transactional emails (e.g. your transcript, account confirmations) via Resend.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

How audio is handled

This is the part that matters most to us — and probably to you.

Your audio file is processed on dedicated hardware located in Singapore using WhisperX, an open-source speech recognition model. Processing happens entirely on our own servers — your audio is never sent to any external API or third-party cloud provider. Once your transcript is produced, the audio file is permanently deleted from all systems. There is no long-term or cold storage of audio recordings.

In plain terms: your recording is processed, the transcript is created, and the recording is gone. We built it this way on purpose.

How transcripts are retained

For registered users, transcripts are stored in your personal dashboard and are accessible only to you. You can delete them at any time from your account. For anonymous (free-tier) submissions, the transcript is emailed to you and is not stored server-side after delivery.

Third parties

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate NexScribe:

• —Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• —Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g. sending you your transcript).

No other third parties receive your personal data. Audio files are never sent to external APIs or cloud providers.

Your rights under PDPA

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data. Email [email protected] to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies and local storage

We use minimal browser storage. Your authentication session is stored in localStorage on your device to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version at this URL with an updated effective date. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.
