What audio formats are supported?
NexScribe supports MP3, WAV, M4A, and MP4 files. For best results, use a clear recording with minimal background noise.
How large can my file be?
Free users can upload files up to 50MB. Pro users can upload files up to 200MB.
How long does transcription take?
Most files are processed within 5 to 15 minutes, depending on file length and current load. You will receive an email when it is ready.
Do I need an account?
No account is required to receive a free transcript by email. An account is required for the dashboard, AI enhancements, and Pro features.
Is my audio stored?
Your audio file is cached only during processing. Once your transcript is ready, the recording is permanently deleted from all systems. We don't store your audio. Transcripts are retained in the dashboard for registered users only.
